A-1 Florida Sod, Inc. cultivates and harvests its own sod. We have two sod farms in central Florida; one in Osceola County and the other in Hillsborough County. We have Department of Agriculture certified sod in three speicies:

A-1 Florida Sod provides FDA certified sod for Florida Department of Transportation highway projects as well as county and city road projects.

We also provide sod for parks such as Lake Eva in Haines City Florida.

We have a professional staff of sod layers that have been certified to work in Phosphate Mines such as Mosaic in Mulberry, Bartow and Riverview, Florida.

Landfill closures are our specialty when it comes to rolling out large quantities of our big rolls of sod.

We do work for several Landfills, including Orange County, Polk County and Waste Management sites.
